At Zion Lutheran Academy, our homeschool hybrid program provides well-structured lessons in math, language arts, science, history, music, art, and Christian studies. All teaching is done from a Christian worldview and Lutheran perspective.
Curriculum includes materials from All About Reading, Saxon Math, Story of the World, Memoria Press, and more.
Class size is kept intentionally small to ensure each student is challenged academically and given the support needed.
Our part time schedule gives children the benefits of both classroom instruction as well as family-led educational experiences at home and in the community.
Our instructor, Lauren Iwen, has been home educating her children since 2011. She also served as a program director and tutor with Classical Conversations for several of those years. She is currently pursuing her Educator Certification with the Consortium for Classical Lutheran Education.
